Your Role: The IT Services Associate role ensures the efficient deployment, replacement, and maintenance of end-user devices and related peripherals. This role is responsible for managing the annual desktop refresh cycle of approximately 150 machines and preparing equipment for new hires. Success in this role requires strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and the ability to prioritize tasks in a fast-paced environment. The ideal candidate is proactive, customer-focused, and skilled in troubleshooting technical issues while maintaining clear and professional communication with end users.

Requirements

  • Strong organizational and time management skills.
  • Excellent problem-solving abilities and attention to detail.
  • Effective communication and interpersonal skills to collaborate with users and team members.
  • Associate degree in Information Technology or related field, or equivalent experience.
  • Minimum of 1 year of experience in desktop support or a similar role.
  • Familiarity with hardware deployment, cable management, and peripheral troubleshooting.

Nice To Haves

  • CompTIA A+ or equivalent certification.

Responsibilities

  • Oversee the annual desktop replacement project, ensuring timely and accurate deployment of 150 machines annually.
  • Handle urgent replacements for hardware failures, minimizing downtime for users.
  • Prepare and deploy IT equipment for new hires, ensuring readiness for day-one productivity.
  • Perform cable management to maintain organized and efficient workspaces.
  • Deploy, troubleshoot, and repair peripherals, including keyboards, mice, and scanners.
  • Maintain accurate records of hardware deployments and replacements.
  • Perform other duties as assigned to support the IT Services team and overall IT operations.
  • This role may require occasional evening or weekend work to address IT emergencies or system maintenance.
