About The Position

The IT Service Management Intern will support the delivery of reliable IT services by assisting with daily IT Service Management (ITSM) activities. Gain hands-on experience with ITIL processes such as Incident Management, Change Management, Problem Management, Knowledge Management, and Service Asset & Configuration Management. Help monitor and support service operations, maintain documentation, and contribute to process improvements while ensuring compliance with company policies and applicable regulations.

Requirements

  • Junior or senior level undergraduate, Master’s level or recent graduate in Computer Science, ISDS, Business Administration, Cybersecurity or related field.
  • Cumulative GPA of 2.5 or higher.
  • Knowledge in various Information Technology disciplines (i.e., application development, systems support, networking and operations, etc.).
  • Knowledge in IT Service Management/ITIL Framework experience (i.e., Change Management, Incident Management, Problem Management, Service Level Management, Knowledge Management, Service Asset and configuration management, Discovery, etc.).
  • Working knowledge of Microsoft 365 applications, including Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Teams, and Outlook.
  • Effective oral and written communication abilities.
  • Ability to think analytically and present ideas professionally.
  • Self-motivated, adaptable to a changing work environment and team-oriented.
  • Undergraduates must be able to work 20 hours per week during the spring and fall semesters and 30-35 hours per week during the summer.
  • Basic understanding of healthcare strategic and technology trends.

Nice To Haves

  • Familiarity with ServiceNow or other IT Service Management (ITSM) solutions.
  • Familiarity with collaboration, automation, or AI-enabled productivity tools (e.g., Microsoft Copilot, Power Platform, or similar technologies).
