We’re looking for an IT Service Desk Specialist who is eager to learn, loves technology, and enjoys helping others. You’ll be the first point of contact for employees across the company, providing excellent in-person and remote support while gaining exposure to a broad range of IT systems and tools. This is an entry-level role designed for someone who wants to grow their skills in a fast-paced, high-impact environment, with mentorship from experienced IT leaders.

Requirements

  • 6+ months of experience or training in IT support, help desk, or a related role.
  • Strong communication skills, both written and verbal, with the ability to explain technical issues clearly.
  • Familiarity with macOS (primary environment) and Windows; Linux experience a plus.
  • Comfort with common collaboration and productivity tools (Zoom, Google Workspace, Slack, M365).
  • Exposure to or interest in tools like Jamf MDM, Ubiquiti Networking, AWS, GitLab, HashiCorp Vault.
  • Reliable, responsible, and organized; you follow through on commitments and adjust when plans change.
  • Curious and eager to learn, with the ability to use resources creatively to solve problems.

Responsibilities

  • Provide excellent customer service by responding to IT support requests via ticketing system, chat, email, and in-person.
  • Troubleshoot issues across macOS and Windows laptops, productivity applications, and collaboration tools (Google Workspace, Slack, Zoom, etc.).
  • Set up, deploy, and manage computers and peripherals for new hires and existing employees.
  • Help maintain and improve IT processes and documentation to make the team more efficient.
  • Manage access requests and accounts across business systems.
  • Support office technology such as networking (Ubiquiti), AV setups, and conference rooms.
  • Contribute to IT asset management and inventory tracking.
  • Provide one-on-one and small-group training on applications and IT best practices.
  • Assist with IT projects, system upgrades, and security initiatives as needed.
