About The Position

As an Information Technology Intern on our Service Desk team, you will gain hands-on experience supporting Safety National employees while contributing to meaningful projects that impact the entire organization. You will provide technical assistance, manage user accounts and permissions, and help ensure employees have secure access to the tools and systems they need to be successful. In this role, you will primarily focus on imaging and deploying Windows 11 laptops to employees and providing in-person end user support at our tech bar. You will also have the opportunity to contribute to larger Service Desk initiatives and department-wide projects based on business needs. This internship is an excellent opportunity to apply your academic coursework in computer science or information technology while building real-world skills in troubleshooting, customer service, and enterprise IT operations during the summer of 2026.

Requirements

  • Currently enrolled in or a graduate of a Computer Science, Information Technology, or related degree program
  • 60 or more credit hours complete with an expected graduation date no later than May of 2027
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office suite including Outlook, Word and Excel
  • Strong attention to detail
  • Fundamental knowledge of operating systems, networking, troubleshooting, and familiarity with operating systems and networking
  • Capable of clearly articulating complex topics to a wide variety of audiences
  • Ability to work on-site at 1832 Schuetz Rd. Saint Louis, MO 63146, full-time schedule (37.5 hours) in summer of 2026
  • Must be presently authorized to work in the U.S. without a requirement for work authorization sponsorship by our company for this position now or in the future
