Requirements

  • High school diploma and 3 years’ experience, or a BA/BS with coursework in computer science or a related field preferred.
  • A combination of equivalent education and work experience related to technology may be substituted for the above requirements.
  • 2+ years of experience preferred in support and/or installation and troubleshooting of PCs, printers, and other peripherals.
  • Knowledge in the installation and support of a variety of PC-based software packages, such as Microsoft Office.
  • Demonstrated ability to support a Windows operating environment.

Responsibilities

  • Provisions and configures workstations, peripherals, and other hardware.
  • Assists staff with troubleshooting and break/fix issues as needed.
  • Responds to and resolves problems with workstations, printers, software, and other peripherals in a timely manner as requested.
  • Installs PC-based software packages on staff computers, such as Microsoft Office, SAS, and various business and data analytics packages.
  • May assist with application and network troubleshooting.
  • Other duties may be assigned as needed.
