THE OPPORTUNITY Chipotle’s IT Service Center (ITSC) is seeking a proactive, self-directed Information Technology Intern to join our team. In this role, you will partner closely with the ITSC and support the Support Planning Team, gaining hands-on experience in enterprise support for a global restaurant organization. The ideal candidate excels at diagnosing and resolving technical issues, quickly learns new tools and technologies, and contributes to delivering projects on time.

Requirements

  • Education: High School Diploma or GED required
  • Currently pursuing an associate’s or bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Information Systems, or related field
  • Basis understanding of ticketing systems and support practices, or willingness to learn
  • Good time management skills
  • Excellent problem-solving and troubleshooting skills
  • Strong communication and customer service skills
  • Able to work independently and as part of a team
  • Able to learn quickly and adapt to changing technology

Responsibilities

  • Contribute to ongoing initiatives that enhance the employee IT support experience
  • Triage escalated support tickets and engage the appropriate Tier 2 technical teams
  • Partner with upstream technical teams on cross-functional initiatives
  • Adhere to established procedures and processes for restaurant support operations
  • Investigate technical issues and recommend practical solutions
  • Assist in developing reports and performing support trend analysis
  • Coordinate with vendor/technical partners to support restaurant operations
