IT Server/Storage Engineer
About The Position
The IT Server and Storage Engineer is responsible for the design, implementation, management, and monitoring of the enterprise server and storage infrastructure. This role ensures maximum uptime of the infrastructure and applications to support users, and involves documenting and maintaining hardware and application configurations and designs. Responsibilities include upgrades, updates, and patching of server and storage infrastructure, as well as troubleshooting performance and outage issues. The engineer will also manage relationships with vendors and service providers for server and storage products and services.
Requirements
- 8+ years of server and storage management and administration required.
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills required.
- Ability to work with non-technical users and management to assess and understand their needs required.
- VMWare virtualization administration
- Windows Server configuration and administration
- HPE enterprise storage (SAN) administration
- Microsoft SQL database administration
- Commvault backup and recovery administration
- Microsoft Office 365 administration
- Microsoft Azure administration
- Microsoft Active Directory and Azure Active Directory administration
- Project management
