About The Position

The IT Server Engineer is responsible for establishing and maintaining server and desktop infrastructure to ensure the access of mission-critical applications within the company. This role involves configuring and managing servers across different operating systems (Windows, Linux), including installation, troubleshooting, and upgrading, with a focus on enhancing performance and reliability. The engineer will also monitor servers daily, troubleshoot issues at both server and PC levels, manage data backup and recovery, and develop documentation for server systems and processes. Additionally, the position contributes to warehouse efficiencies and cost reduction by analyzing product and delivery issues, and fosters a positive work environment through open communication and support for company culture and associate well-being. The role also involves maintaining strong relationships with internal/external customers and suppliers, ensuring efficient merchandise flow through the warehouse.

Requirements

Bachelors degree in computer science or related field.
At least 3-year working experience as a server engineer.
Strong experience with Microsoft Windows Server and Linux/Unix-based server systems.
Experience with virtualization technologies such as VMWare or Hyper-V.
Fluent in English.
Strong written and oral communication skills.
Ability to multi-task and prioritize tasks.
Ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
Effectively communicates concepts with various levels of the organization.

Nice To Haves

Experience as a database administrator is a plus.

Responsibilities
