This position is eligible for a hybrid work schedule, which is the ability to work from home, while also requiring to be in person as needed at our Lakeside and/or Clayton Corporate HQ campus locations in St. Louis, Missouri.

Requirements

  • Must be presently authorized to work in the U.S. without a requirement for work authorization sponsorship by our company for this position now or in the future
  • Must reside in St. Louis, Missouri, or immediate surrounding area
  • Must be able to work a schedule within U.S. Central Standard Time core business hours.
  • Must be committed to incorporating security into all decisions and daily job responsibilities
  • 8+ years of relevant experience (program / project management, governance and decision-making, business case development, budget and resource management and portfolio management) in an IT environment
  • 6+ years of experience in people leadership, to include career planning/support, training, interviewing, hiring, rewarding, disciplining, and conducting performance and salary reviews; Proven ability to grow and develop direct reports
  • Experience as a change agent
  • Excellent analytical, organizational, interpersonal and communication skills
  • Strong ability to collaborate and partner across the organization, establishing and maintaining solid working relationships with peers, vendors, senior management, portfolio managers, and other department leaders
  • Strong understanding of formal project management methodologies and tracking tools to include MS Project, Excel and PowerPoint
  • Strong project financial management knowledge
  • Proven success in working and communicating effectively within cross-functional teams
  • Experience developing and delivering presentations, training sessions and demos
  • Strong business acumen, demonstrating intellectual curiosity and ability to come up to speed on business/technology area or function supported
  • Must have a professional attitude, a strong desire and ability to take ownership, the ability to provide high quality customer service, and a willingness to expend additional effort when necessary or required

Nice To Haves

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Computer Information Systems, Management Information Systems, or related field preferred
  • Ability to work in multiple project management methodologies including: Agile, Waterfall, Iterative and Hybrid

Responsibilities

  • Leading various levels of project management and analyst professionals across the organization, to include career planning/support, training, interviewing, hiring, rewarding, disciplining, and conducting performance and salary reviews.
  • Establishing foundational processes to drive greater consistency, quality, and developing a strong financial acumen in our project and program management practice.
  • Leading and supporting the evolution and maturity of the PMO practices to bring our vision to fruition, recognizing when adjustments need to be made along the journey.
  • Ensuring roles and responsibilities, standards, and processes are in alignment with the PMO’s organizational expectations and encourage employee growth and leadership development.
  • Fostering a culture of collaboration, execution, and ownership with an outcome-driven mindset.
  • Partnering closely with sponsors, stakeholders and the PMO team to align, collaborate, and continuously improve.
  • Building and maintaining ongoing trusted relationships through proactive communication and feedback.
  • Navigating the IT organizational structure to gain insight and a better understanding of area needs and challenges.
  • Leading budgeting and forecasting activities with strong financial acumen, ensuring accuracy, analyzing trends, and delivering data-driven insights to mitigate risk and optimize resource allocation in alignment with organizational goals.
  • Evolving processes that foster visibility and strategic alignment, incorporating governance and reporting to ensure our portfolio execution drives value realization.
  • Promoting an environment that advocates for and supports change.
  • Leading in the presence of ambiguity and supporting teams in understanding the context and drivers behind changes, such as new processes, standardization, priorities, and new roles and responsibilities.
