About The Position

Partner with business teams to gather, document and maintain business requirements documents, create process flow diagrams, UI mockups for development teams using tools like Visio, MS Word, MS Excel, Adobe PDF, and other similar tools. Schedule meetings with IT SMEs to articulate solutions while ensuring the business requirements are met. Work closely with onsite and offshore developers to translate business requirements into technical specifications and create project timelines. Provide clarifications (if necessary) on tasks to developers based on further discussions with business owner. Prepare Test plans and test cases for functional scenarios and perform testing effectively. Create reports and dashboards using reporting tools like Power BI/SSRS as per business requirements. Develop logic by writing T-SQL queries to create data sets on adhoc basis based on requirements from business. Responsible for peer code review (both technical and functional) and provide improvements (if necessary). Responsible for creating a continuous improvement process, investigating problems, generating recommendations, and implementing solutions based on the use of reporting tools like Power BI and SSRS. Identify and implement process improvements making the organization more effective and efficient. Enforce established Compliance processes are followed in Projects. Perform other duties as assigned including delegating tasks, mentoring, and providing leadership to low & mid-level peers, concerning all confidential information including but not limited to internal use and restricted information.

Requirements

  • Minimum Job Experience: 7+
  • Language requirements: English Written, Advanced Verbal
  • Computer/software skills: Microsoft Office 365 (Outlook, Word, Excel, Visio, Power point)
  • Banking industry experience in Deposits, Commercial and Consumer Loans
  • Writing Business Requirement Documents, functional specification documents and use cases.
  • Experience in writing T-SQL statements, and able to understand the logic from stored procedures.
  • Understanding of the data warehouse concepts, dim tables, fact tables and querying the data.
  • Experience in effectively translating concepts into non-technical terms to business owners in a clear and concise manner.
  • Experience in managing project timelines and ability to effectively self-prioritize and execute tasks in a high-pressure, fast-paced environment.
  • Strong leadership, interpersonal, presentation and relationship building skills.
  • Exhibit strong desire to learn, adapt to new technologies and grow.
