IT Security Support Engineer (Intern)

About The Position
The primary responsibilities of this position include assistance to our Security Team and Security Operations Manager with security related tasks and other miscellaneous IT tasks for our 30+ office locations throughout the USA and Madrid, Spain. Successful candidates shall be detail oriented, trustworthy, have a positive attitude, and be self- motivated with the willingness to learn and continue building their knowledge.
Requirements
- Familiarity with ISMS concepts and general IT security principles.
Responsibilities
- Provide assistance with tasks related to LaBella’s ISMS (Information Security Management System).
- Ensure security of data, network access, and backup systems, in compliance with LaBella security protocols.
- Help maintain our monitoring and log collection software.
- Help manage the NAC (network access control) system.
- Perform scheduled security duties, regular reviews of reports, alerts and alarms.
- Document security systems.
- Assist with vulnerability management.
- Respond to issues raised in vulnerability scans and perform remediations.
- Work with vendors of security systems, perform upgrades and patching.
- Implement various aspects of our security program.
- Ad-Hoc security related tasks.
