About The Position

Being a member of the IT Cybersecurity & Platform Engineering team, the Secure Platforms team is seeking a highly motivated and technically proficient Associate to help drive strategic initiatives across DTCC's enterprise cryptographic and trust services portfolio. This role sits at the intersection of engineering execution, technical program leadership, and cross-functional collaboration. You will partner closely with engineering leaders and service owners responsible for Post-Quantum Cryptography (PQC), PKI and Machine Identity, Secrets Management, Encryption Services, and Cryptographic Platforms. You will help ensure these services are prepared for and aligned with major enterprise initiatives, including cyber resiliency programs, infrastructure modernization, platform transformations, and regulatory-driven technology changes. Success in this role requires both technical depth and strong organizational leadership. You will be expected to understand complex technical concepts, engage engineering teams on architectural and implementation decisions, coordinate work across multiple stakeholders, track execution against milestones, identify risks and dependencies, and drive initiatives to successful outcomes.

Requirements

  • Minimum of 4 years of experience in cybersecurity, platform engineering, infrastructure engineering, identity and access management, cryptography, or technical program leadership.
  • Bachelor's degree preferred and/or equivalent experience.
  • Demonstrated experience leading complex cross-functional technical initiatives.
  • Understanding of one or more of the following domains: Public Key Infrastructure (PKI) Secrets Management Machine Identity Cryptography and Key Management Cloud Security Identity and Access Management Post-Quantum Cryptography
  • Ability to communicate effectively with engineers, architects, senior leadership, and business stakeholders.
  • Strong organizational, analytical, and problem-solving skills.
  • Experience tracking multiple workstreams and managing complex dependencies.

Responsibilities

  • Lead and coordinate cross-service initiatives impacting Secure Platforms technologies.
  • Drive execution of strategic programs spanning Post-Quantum Cryptography, PKI, Secrets Management, Machine Identity, and Cryptographic Services.
  • Partner with engineering teams to assess impacts, define requirements, track deliverables, and resolve blockers.
  • Serve as a technical liaison between Secure Platforms and enterprise technology teams.
  • Build and maintain program plans, dependency maps, risk registers, executive status updates, and readiness assessments.
  • Support enterprise initiatives such as cyber resiliency programs, recovery environments, infrastructure modernization efforts, segmentation programs, cloud transformations, and other strategic initiatives.
  • Analyze technical architectures and identify impacts to cryptographic services and trust infrastructure.
  • Facilitate working sessions, technical reviews, and stakeholder governance forums.
  • Develop metrics, reporting, and dashboards to measure execution progress and organizational readiness.
  • Contribute to technical strategy discussions and help translate strategic objectives into actionable engineering outcomes.
  • Assist service owners with roadmap planning, adoption tracking, and enterprise engagement activities.
