Requirements

A high school diploma is required.
5 or more years experience in Information Technology required.

Nice To Haves

Degree in Information Technology or related field preferred.
3 years as a system administrator, network/server engineer or equivalent job experience preferred.
Experience in health care and knowledge of HIPAA preferred.
Technical certification, especially in Information Security preferred.
Prior experience with Microsoft Active Directory, group policy, Microsoft server administration, and Office 365/Azure administration experience preferred.

Responsibilities

Act as the primary liaison with our managed detection and response vendor to analyze and respond to security findings.
Work closely with Office365/Azure administrators to ensure seamless integration of security protocols.
Collaborate with the IT Infrastructure team to implement Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) and conduct reviews to enhance our security posture.
Analyze technical reports, benchmarks, and standards to provide actionable recommendations for system administrators.
Utilize security tools such as firewalls and advanced threat protection systems to monitor activities and identify potential threats.
Follow established SOPs for daily, weekly, and monthly monitoring of security systems.
Conduct risk assessments for new software applications and services.
Review third-party security controls and recommend necessary responses.
Implement recommendations for improvements in processes and procedures.
Participate in assigned projects and be available for on-call duties.
Perform other duties as assigned to contribute to our mission.
