About The Position

Teleport is the AI Infrastructure Identity Company, focused on solving complex security problems by providing cryptographically secured identities for humans, machines, workloads, and AI agents. This role involves using a modern and innovative approach to IT problems, including Infrastructure as Code (IaC), shell scripting, and workflow automation tooling like Temporal/Go. The position will work on a variety of IT challenges such as networking, security, and system integrations, with a collaborative and open design process. Teleport is a remote-first, globally distributed company working with major clients like Nasdaq, IBM, DoorDash, and Elastic.

Requirements

Willingness and ability to work across traditional IT tasks, including setting up and debugging IT tools (Okta, Rippling, Zendesk), assisting internal customers (helpdesk), and diving deep into Kubernetes and Go + Temporal.
Programming experience in Go.
Linux systems engineering experience.
Kubernetes experience.
IaC (Terraform) and shell scripting experience.
IT security & administration experience.

Nice To Haves

Experience with Temporal.
Experience with data warehousing concepts and platforms such as AWS Redshift, Fivetran, and DBT.

Responsibilities

Building next-generation IT workflow automation tooling using Temporal and Go running on Kubernetes.
Collaborating with the engineering team on dogfooding Teleport, specifically Teleport Identity and Teleport Policy.
Building hardened security and automation for macOS endpoints.
Writing IT automation using tools like Terraform, shell scripts, and Go.
Writing integrations with tools like Panther, Jamf Pro, Okta, Rippling, and Google Chrome Enterprise.
Performing traditional IT Helpdesk tasks, including assisting internal customers with access, lockouts, integrations, and configurations.
