Reporting to the Cyber Security Operations Manager, the role will be responsible for the operation and monitoring of information security technology and for identifying and analyzing security incidents. Requirements

  • University degree in Computer Science and/or related field
  • Minimum 1 - 3 years’ experience in enterprise security architecture and document design
  • Knowledge of application/system/network vulnerabilities
  • Knowledge of IT security, monitoring tools and experience in patch management
  • Exceptional time management and organizational skills with keen attention to detail
  • Ability to effectively prioritize and execute tasks in a high pressure environment and meet tight deadlines

Nice To Haves

  • CISSP or SEC+ Certification an asset

Responsibilities

  • Monitor and manage security platforms including SIEM, Endpoint Protection, Email Security, DLP, and DNS/Web Security tools
  • Perform daily triage, investigation, and escalation of security alerts and detections
  • Perform vulnerability scans, track remediation, and maintain asset inventory alignment, assist in the creation of risk documentation, and support remediation efforts across a cross-functional team
  • Perform health check and maintenance activities across security tools, including agent coverage analysis, security tool hygiene, asset tagging, regular review of rules and exceptions, tuning, and troubleshooting support
  • Contributing to the development of information security training and awareness activities; ; including content development and recommendations, threat simulation, phishing exercises, and campaign tracking
  • Assist in the collection, analysis and tracking of vendor security assessments
  • Maintain and regularly test the organization’s security documents (policies, standards, baselines, guidelines and procedures)
  • Assist in reporting activities, including regulatory reports, regular metrics, and trend analysis
  • Identify and assess information security risks and define appropriate mitigating controls
  • Continually improving the overall effectiveness of the security program and response process
  • Performing user access reviews
  • Providing support for internal and external audits
  • Obtaining and maintaining applicable gaming licenses in multiple jurisdictions as required
  • Working as one team under stressful conditions during high volume business levels
  • Flexibility to support a 24/7 operation
