About The Position

The IT Security Analyst 2 role focuses on IT security, cyber security, and compliance. The position requires experience with NIST, System Security Plans (SSP), Governance, Risk & Compliance (GRC), and security controls. Responsibilities include performing risk assessments, vulnerability remediation, and compliance activities, as well as creating and maintaining SSPs and supporting Authority to Operate (ATO) processes. The role also involves coordinating with technical teams, business stakeholders, and security teams, and familiarity with security testing, system scanning, and artifact collection is expected. Experience with Keylight is considered a plus.

Requirements

1–3 years of experience in IT Security, Cyber Security, Compliance, or a related field.
Knowledge of NIST, System Security Plans (SSP), Governance, Risk & Compliance (GRC), and security controls.
Experience performing risk assessments, vulnerability remediation, and compliance activities.
Experience creating and maintaining SSPs and supporting ATO processes.
Strong communication, collaboration, and customer service skills.
Experience coordinating with technical teams, business stakeholders, and security teams.
Familiarity with security testing, system scanning, and artifact collection.
Bachelor's degree or higher in Information Technology, Computer Science, Cyber Security, or a related field, OR a Cyber Security certification.
