About The Position

We are seeking a highly skilled and motivated IT Security Analyst to join our growing team. This role is ideal for a proactive professional with strong technical skills in threat detection, incident response, and security tool management. The successful candidate will play a key role in safeguarding our organization's information systems, ensuring data integrity, confidentiality, and availability.

Requirements

• High School Graduate or equivalent (GED).
• Hands-on experience with Arctic Wolf SOC, including incident triage and ticket management.
• Proficiency with Microsoft 365 Defender, including Defender for Endpoint, Identity, and Office 365.
• Solid understanding and operational experience with Cisco security technologies such as AMP, Umbrella, Duo, and Cloud Email Security.
• Demonstrated experience with Cylance endpoint protection.
• Working knowledge of Akamai WAF configuration and rule management.
• Strong analytical and troubleshooting skills.
• Effective verbal and written communication abilities.
• Ability to prioritize tasks and respond calmly under pressure.

Nice To Haves

• Familiarity with ConnectWise Manage and ConnectWise Automate platforms preferred.
• Industry certifications such as CompTIA Security+, CISSP, etc preferred.

Responsibilities

• Proactively monitor and analyze network traffic and security events, performing threat hunting activities using Arctic Wolf SOC.
• Respond to and manage security incidents and alerts across Microsoft 365 Defender and Cisco security platforms.
• Handle tickets and escalate issues appropriately within Arctic Wolf’s portal.
• Configure and maintain Cisco security solutions, including Cisco AMP (Secure Endpoint), Umbrella, Duo, and Cloud Email Security Appliances.
• Leverage Cylance to detect and prevent endpoint threats.
• Administer and optimize Akamai Web Application Firewall (WAF) to protect web-facing applications from common exploits and threats.
• Stay up to date with emerging cyber threats, vulnerabilities, and mitigation techniques.
