About The Position

Kinaxis is seeking a results-driven IT Project Manager to join their Corporate IT team. This role is responsible for planning, executing, and delivering technology projects that align with business outcomes, enhance operational efficiency, and support the enterprise technology roadmap. The IT Project Manager will collaborate with IT leaders, business stakeholders, vendors, and cross-functional teams to ensure disciplined execution, manage risks, and deliver projects on time, within scope, and on budget. This is a hands-on position that combines project governance, stakeholder management, and delivery leadership in a fast-paced environment. The ideal candidate is passionate about structured delivery, clear accountability, and enabling teams to perform at their best.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's Degree in Information Technology, Business, Engineering, or a relevant field or equivalent work experience
  • 5+ years of experience managing IT projects in a medium to large enterprise environment.
  • PMP®, PRINCE2®, or equivalent project management certification (required or in progress).
  • Proven track record delivering complex, cross-functional technology initiatives.
  • Experience working in both Agile and Waterfall delivery models.
  • Strong understanding of IT delivery domains (applications, infrastructure, cloud, security, data).
  • Experience managing vendors and third-party delivery partners.
  • Demonstrated ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously with competing priorities.
  • Strong financial acumen, including budget tracking and forecasting.
  • Experience working within formal governance and PMO frameworks.
  • Familiarity with change management concepts and business readiness considerations.

Responsibilities

  • Lead the end-to-end delivery of IT projects using established project management methodologies (Agile, Waterfall, or hybrid, as appropriate).
  • Develop and maintain detailed project plans, schedules, budgets, risk registers, and dependency tracking.
  • Serve as the primary point of accountability for assigned projects, ensuring scope, timeline, cost, and quality commitments are met.
  • Partner with business stakeholders to clarify requirements, success criteria, and expected outcomes.
  • Coordinate cross-functional delivery teams, including application teams, infrastructure, security, vendors, and business SMEs.
  • Proactively identify, assess, and manage project risks, issues, and dependencies; escalate when appropriate with clear recommendations.
  • Drive effective project governance, including status reporting, steering committee updates, and decision tracking.
  • Ensure alignment between project execution and broader IT strategy, architecture standards, and security/compliance requirements.
  • Manage vendor relationships related to project delivery, including statements of work, milestones, and deliverables.
  • Support change readiness by coordinating with change management, communications, and training partners as needed.
  • Contribute to the continuous improvement of IT project management practices, templates, and standards.
  • Promote transparency, accountability, and a delivery-focused culture across project teams.
