About The Position

The IT Project Manager will manage the IT and physical security workstreams for multiple concurrent projects across multiple locations. This role serves as the IT and security subject matter expert throughout the project lifecycle, responsible for developing and maintaining IT project plans, schedules, budgets, resource allocations, and risk registers. The position involves facilitating IT workstream activities, tracking dependencies, identifying and mitigating technology-related risks, and ensuring IT and security project components are delivered on time, within budget, and aligned with business objectives. The IT Project Manager will also coordinate with the overall project manager while retaining responsibility for the IT and security workstream. Key areas of focus include physical security systems (CCTV, access control, video management, etc.), IT infrastructure deployments (networking, servers, cabling), branch construction and relocations, vendor management, and executive communication.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Engineering, Business Administration, Security Management, or a related field preferred, or commensurate education and professional experience.
  • Five or more years of project management experience.
  • Three or more years managing enterprise physical security workstreams or projects.
  • Experience leading the IT portion of multi-site technology deployments.
  • Experience working with construction, Facilities, and Real Estate teams.
  • Proven success managing multiple concurrent IT workstreams.
  • Experience managing external vendors and integrators.
  • Experience with one or more of the following: Physical security systems, CCTV platforms, Access control systems, Video management systems, Enterprise networking, Structured cabling, Server infrastructure, Security operations, Construction technology deployments, Branch relocation projects, Reading, interpreting, and reviewing T drawings.
  • Valid driver’s license and ability to travel throughout the United States.
  • Must possess and maintain a valid passport.
  • Ability to travel internationally when required to support North American operations, technology deployments, training, or strategic initiatives.
  • Ability to work evenings and weekends during project cutovers, branch moves, and go-live activities.
  • Ability to lift and transport technology equipment weighing up to 50 pounds as needed.

Responsibilities

  • Manage the IT and physical security workstreams for multiple concurrent projects across multiple locations.
  • Act as the IT and security subject matter expert throughout the project lifecycle.
  • Develop and maintain IT project plans, schedules, budgets, resource allocations, and risk registers.
  • Facilitate IT workstream kickoffs, status meetings, milestone reviews, and closeout activities.
  • Track IT dependencies, critical-path activities, and stakeholder commitments.
  • Identify and mitigate technology-related risks, issues, and schedule impacts.
  • Maintain IT project governance, documentation, and executive reporting.
  • Ensure the IT and security portions of projects are delivered on time, within budget, and aligned with business objectives.
  • Coordinate with the overall project manager while retaining responsibility and accountability for the IT and security workstream.
  • Serve as the subject matter expert for deployments and upgrades involving CCTV and video surveillance systems, access control systems, video management systems, burglar alarm systems, enterprise security platforms, remote monitoring solutions, and Security Operations Center technologies.
  • Coordinate with consultants, architects, integrators, and security vendors during the design and implementation phases.
  • Review and interpret T drawings, system designs, hardware specifications, and project scopes.
  • Validate that IT and physical security requirements are accurately represented in project drawings and designs.
  • Ensure security solutions align with company standards, compliance requirements, and operational needs.
  • Manage and coordinate the IT portion of implementations involving network switching infrastructure, WAN connectivity and carrier services, wireless networking systems, servers and virtual infrastructure, UPS systems, NVRs and security appliances, and structured cabling.
  • Partner with Network Engineering, Systems Engineering, Cybersecurity, Service Desk, and Infrastructure teams to ensure technology readiness.
  • Serve as the primary technical point of contact for IT infrastructure requirements, issues, and decisions related to assigned projects.
  • Serve as the IT and security subject matter expert and lead the IT workstream for new branch construction, branch relocation, and renovation projects.
  • Coordinate IT and security activities with the overall project manager, Real Estate, construction managers, general contractors, and Facilities teams.
  • Maintain responsibility for planning, coordinating, executing, and completing the IT and security components of each project.
  • Validate site-readiness requirements, including MDF and IDF readiness, power availability, cooling and HVAC requirements, rack installations, circuit deployment, and network availability.
  • Develop and execute IT and security cutover and go-live plans.
  • Coordinate post-go-live technical support and IT workstream closeout.
  • Manage IT-related relationships with security integrators, general contractors, consultants, technology vendors, telecommunications providers, and service providers.
  • Review proposals, statements of work, budgets, and project schedules as they relate to IT and security requirements.
  • Track vendor performance and enforce accountability for IT and security deliverables.
  • Escalate issues affecting project timelines, costs, quality, or technology readiness.
  • Maintain and update division documentation.
  • Produce weekly and monthly IT project portfolio reports.
  • Provide executive-level updates and risk assessments for IT and security workstreams.
  • Present IT project status, risks, dependencies, and recommendations to leadership.
  • Develop dashboards and metrics to improve project visibility and decision-making.
  • Maintain accurate IT project records and documentation throughout the project lifecycle.
