About The Position

The IT Project Manager is responsible for overseeing all aspects of owned projects, including managing internal resources and vendors to ensure projects are completed on time and within their specified budgets. This role involves managing and leading the project team, ensuring project deliverables are defined and agreed upon with the Project Owner, and confirming the feasibility of project delivery.

Requirements

BA/MA preferably with IT/Finance/Economics specialization
PMP or other certification in Project Management
3-5 years’ experience in managing IT projects (infrastructure, software)
Fluent English
Knowledge of ITIL and industry best practices
Exceptional organizational skills, multitasking
Strong analytical, problem-solving, and decision-making skills
Attention to detail, testing, and documentation
Ability to maintain good working relationships with third-party service providers and vendors
Strong oral and written communication skills
Ability to work independently and under stress

Responsibilities

Managing and leading the project team
Ensuring project’s deliverables are defined and agreed with Project Owner
Confirming feasibility of project delivery
Developing and maintaining a detailed project plan including resource plan, allocation and optimized utilization
Managing project deliverables in line with the project plan
Recording and managing project issues and escalating where necessary
Resolve cross-functional issues at project level
Manage project scope and change control and escalating issues where necessary
Monitor project progress and performance
Provide status reports to the Project Owner
Liaise with, and updates progress to, project board/senior management
Managing project evaluation and dissemination activities
Working closely with users to ensure the project meets business needs
Preparing UAT and Training strategy
Handing-over project to Support
Working with the PMO to facilitate process improvements to Project Management
