About The Position

The IT Project Manager provides leadership and is accountable for the end‑to‑end delivery of complex, multi‑year, enterprise‑wide IT initiatives. This role oversees projects with significant organizational impact, including digital transformation programs, enterprise application deployments, infrastructure modernization, cybersecurity initiatives, and cross‑functional technology integrations. The IT Project Manager operates with a high degree of autonomy, exercises expert judgment, and influences decision‑making at all organizational levels. The role requires advanced technical knowledge, sophisticated risk management capabilities, and the ability to lead diverse teams through ambiguity and rapid change.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, Engineering, or related field.
  • Minimum 6–8 years of progressive experience in IT project management, including leadership of large‑scale, enterprise‑level initiatives.
  • Demonstrated success managing multimillion‑dollar budgets and high‑risk technology programs.
  • Experience leading organizational change and digital transformation.
  • Advanced knowledge of project management tools (MS Project, JIRA, Confluence).
  • Strong understanding of IT systems, cloud technologies, cybersecurity and enterprise architecture.
  • Ability to translate complex technical concepts for non‑technical audiences.

Responsibilities

  • Lead moderate to largescale IT projects/Programs that are aligned with the strategic business imperatives of the organization.
  • Apply project governance structures as defined by the PMO, decision‑making frameworks, and escalation protocols.
  • Advise senior leadership on project feasibility, resource strategy, and technology alignment with business objectives.
  • Manage multiple concurrent projects with complex interdependencies, often involving cross‑functional teams, external vendors, and regulatory requirements.
  • Oversee detailed project planning, including scope, schedule, budget, resource allocation, and risk mitigation.
  • Ensure all deliverables meet stringent quality, security, and compliance standards.
  • Own accountability for project budgets, including forecasting, cost‑benefit analysis, and financial reporting.
  • Identify, assess, and mitigate complex technical, operational, and organizational risks.
  • Ensure compliance with internal controls, cybersecurity standards, privacy legislation, and audit requirements.
  • Lead multidisciplinary teams including developers, analysts, architects, cybersecurity specialists, and external consultants.
  • Provide performance feedback to line management.
  • Facilitate executive‑level communication, presenting project status, risks, and recommendations to senior leadership and steering committees.
  • Work with vendors and third parties ensuring compliance with contract terms and conditions, SLA’s and performance expectations.
  • Ensure solutions are aligned to the architectural standards
  • Oversee testing execution, quality assurance, and user acceptance processes.
  • Lead post‑implementation reviews, ensuring continuous improvement and knowledge transfer.
