Join IMT and let’s shape the future together! The Project Manager will be responsible for managing and delivering small to large size projects that IMT IT has in its portfolio. This role manages cross functional teams responsible for delivering project outputs on time, within budget, and with quality results. The Project Manager will plan, organize, monitor and oversee one or more enterprise projects to meet defined requirements and/or business specifications. It is their responsibility to take projects from original concept through final implementation. They will work closely with IT and Business leaders to guide efforts toward achieving intended business outcomes. The Project Manager also ensures appropriate management, customer, and partner involvement through the life of the project including reporting to Steering Committees and Senior Leadership. This role is effective in establishing, building, and strengthening key relationships within the business and key vendors, as well as work closely with Business Analysts to manage the demand from various IMT Business Units.

Degree or diploma (post-secondary), relevant industry experience, and/or related certifications
ITIL 4 Foundations, PMP, CAPM (have or in progress)
5+ years’ experience in IT Project Management leading projects through their entire lifecycle, leading functional teams and meeting milestones
Demonstrated ability to manage 2 or more low to high complex projects in parallel
Familiar with project management methodology
Highly developed interpersonal skills including written and oral communication skills, with the ability to interact and communicate effectively with Stakeholders at all levels
Ability to build and influence teams in a matrix environment to drive results
Ability to effectively plan and facilitate meetings
Ability to build strong relationships and remain calm and constructive when conflicts arise
Identifying, assessing, and mitigating project risks to minimize disruptions
Coaching, guiding and motivating teams to meet project goals
Analyzing data, evaluating risks and making timely decisions
Reprioritizing tasks quickly and adapting to changing conditions
Knowledge of managing and reporting projects using digital technologies such as Freshservice, Microsoft Project, or other digital Project Management tools

Responsibilities

Create a project environment that enables peak performance by all team members, and successfully deliver all assigned projects, within a matrix structure
Project Management subject matter expert for processes and best practices, and participates in driving the continuous development of IMT’s program/project planning, scheduling, resource management practices
Maintain a high level of quality in project management processes and deliver all required project artifacts including but not limited to: Project Charter
Project Plan including a comprehensive Work Breakdown Structure
Risk, Action, Issue, Decision (RAID) Log
Status and Steering Committee Reports
Project Financial tracking
Project Closeout and Lessons Learned Register
Proactively identify changes in work scope and ensure appropriate planning measures are taken with all stakeholders to reassess and/or amend the scope of work, budget, and timeline
Responsible for vendor and procurement management process related to project
Effectively represent project at meetings with IT and Business Unit leaders ensuring priorities are communicated and understood, and that progress, delays, issues, and risks are reported
Manage IT communications, training, and organizational change management plans for internal and external stakeholders
Perform analysis of business user needs, understanding and documenting requirements, current and future state processes, and translating into system requirements specifications
Utilize broad IT knowledge and their knowledge of the IMT Business to implement IT solutions that reflect the functionality necessary to address business goals and objectives
Provides input into project proposals or business case, including financial analysis, cost estimates, and cost/benefit for each solution option
Develops test strategies, plans and scripts, and executes and documents tests of technology solutions
Adherence to IMT’s ITSM Change Management process and security protocols
