About The Position

The IT Infrastructure Project Manager will join Trane Technologies’ IT Infrastructure organization to lead people and deployments for New Site/Site Moves, IPT, Network Refresh, and M&A projects in the Americas Region. This role is crucial for planning, executing, and finalizing projects within strict deadlines and budget, coordinating team members and third-party contractors, defining project objectives, and overseeing quality control throughout the project lifecycle. The position requires strong organizational skills, effective communication, and the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in business administration, Management, Information Technology, or a related field.
  • 2-5 years of experience in project management or a related role.
  • Proficient understanding of project management principles, methodologies, and tools (e.g., Agile, Scrum, Waterfall).
  • Familiarity with project management software (e.g., Microsoft Project, Asana, Trello).
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
  • Ability to effectively communicate with team members, stakeholders, and clients.
  • Strong organizational and time management skills.
  • Ability to manage multiple tasks and projects simultaneously.
  • Ability to identify and resolve issues in a timely manner.
  • Strong analytical and critical thinking skills.
  • Ability to work effectively in a team environment.
  • Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to build relationships with team members and stakeholders.

Nice To Haves

  • Project Management Professional (PMP) or Certified associate in project management (CAPM) certification.

Responsibilities

  • Assist in defining project scope, goals, and deliverables.
  • Develop detailed project plans, including timelines, milestones, and resource allocation.
  • Coordinate tasks and activities among team members to ensure project tasks are completed on time and within scope.
  • Track project performance using appropriate tools and techniques.
  • Report and escalate issues to management as needed.
  • Maintain effective communication with stakeholders, team members, and clients.
  • Prepare and present regular project updates and status reports.
  • Identify potential project risks and assist in developing mitigation strategies.
  • Monitor and manage project risks and issues.
  • Maintain comprehensive project documentation, including meeting minutes, project plans, and status reports.
  • Ensure all project documents are complete, current, and stored appropriately.
