About The Position

The IT Project Manager provides innovation, integration, architecture, and project-management support to Headquarters Air Combat Command (ACC), including ACC/A25 ISR Systems and Capabilities Division and associated ACC/A2 organizations. The position supports ACC, Air Force Life Cycle Management Center (AFLCMC), and subordinate organizations with tracking, integrating, evaluating, and modernizing existing and emerging technologies across the Theater Air Control System (TACS), Processing, Exploitation, and Dissemination (PED), analysis, targeting, and broader Intelligence, Surveillance, and Reconnaissance (ISR) enterprises. The employee applies knowledge of system integration, ISR platforms, secure intelligence information systems, and project-management processes to develop multi-discipline ISR architectural products and services; identify promising technologies and non-material solutions; establish research, development, and modernization tasks; and support schedules, test plans, exercises, experimentation, training, and certification activities. A primary area of responsibility includes support to the Air Force Sensitive Compartmented Information (AFSCI) Enterprise through development of enterprise architecture products, Concepts of Operations (CONOPS), governance policies, service-delivery guides, ServiceNow governance documentation, cross-domain solution documentation, and related technical or operational publications.

  • Demonstrated experience developing or substantially revising formal technical and operational documentation, including CONOPS, governance policies, service-delivery guides, architecture products, requirements packages, implementation plans, or decision papers.
  • Experience with ServiceNow, IT service management, service-delivery governance, requirements management, configuration management, or platform-modernization initiatives.
  • Familiarity with cross-domain solutions, secure information-sharing architectures, intelligence-system interoperability, and sensitive-compartmented environments.
  • Experience supporting ISR innovation, system integration, TACS, PED, analysis, targeting, operational exercises, experimentation, or training-development efforts.
  • Background in Air Force intelligence, cyber operations, communications, systems engineering, program management, technical policy development, or enterprise architecture.

Responsibilities

  • Identify, monitor, evaluate, and integrate emerging multidiscipline ISR technologies and non-material solutions to address validated warfighter requirements across the TACS, PED, analysis, targeting, and ISR enterprises.
  • Analyze capability gaps, interoperability issues, and process deficiencies, and provide assessments and recommendations to ACC leadership on technology, policy, and organizational impacts.
  • Develop and maintain AFSCI enterprise architecture products, governance policies, CONOPS, service-delivery guides, and technical documentation supporting secure intelligence information systems and cross-domain solutions.
  • Support ServiceNow modernization, IT service-management governance, and enterprise service-delivery processes, ensuring alignment with AFSCI and Air Force Intelligence Community requirements.
  • Assist with provisioning, integration, and sustainment of secure IT capabilities supporting AFSCI, AFJWICS, and related intelligence-enterprise systems.
  • Participate in Joint C4ISR experimentation, operational tests, exercises, and system-integration activities to evaluate emerging capabilities and validate operational effectiveness.
  • Support training, certification, and exercise development by creating instructional materials, evaluating training effectiveness, and identifying capability or training gaps across the Air Force Training Environment.
  • Ensure compliance with applicable regulations, policies, and processes governing technology integration, modeling and simulation, and enterprise architecture activities.
