About The Position

SnapSoft is seeking one of its first US-based Project Managers to help establish and scale its delivery presence in North America. This role involves working alongside the European PMO to shape project delivery operations in the US. As one of the first US delivery hires, the individual will have a direct impact on processes, customer experience, and the future growth of the PMO. The role focuses on leading customer-facing AWS Cloud Migration, AI/ML, and Application Development projects for North American customers, collaborating with global teams, and establishing best practices for the US PMO.

Requirements

  • 5+ years of experience in project management roles within fast-paced digital environments, including at least 3 years of hands-on Software Project Management experience and a proven track record of successfully delivering complex projects.
  • Strong understanding of project management principles and experience applying Agile methodologies.
  • Proficiency in utilizing project management tools such as Miro, Jira, and Microsoft Project to enhance project tracking and stakeholder communication.
  • Exemplary written and verbal communication skills in both Hungarian and English.
  • Strong organizational skills, capable of managing multiple projects simultaneously and meeting deadlines.
  • Solution-oriented consultative mindset, with the ability to anticipate challenges and devise effective solutions.
  • Background in roles like Project Manager, Delivery Manager, Program Manager or Product Owner enhancing your adaptability and effectiveness in project governance.
  • Enjoys building new things instead of simply maintaining existing processes.
  • Is comfortable working in a highly autonomous remote environment.
  • Thrives in an international organization with distributed teams across multiple time zones.
  • Can confidently communicate with executives while remaining hands-on in project delivery.

Responsibilities

  • Take full responsibility for every stage of the project lifecycle, ensuring projects are delivered on time, within scope, and on budget, including international projects in the NORAM and EMEA regions.
  • Develop detailed project plans, timelines, and delivery schedules, including risk assessments and mitigation strategies.
  • Efficiently manage allocated resources to meet project deliverables while optimizing project profitability.
  • Manage communications with all project stakeholders, ensuring expectations are set and updates are provided throughout the project lifecycle.
  • Pick the best-suited delivery methodology with your team to ensure effective project governance.
  • Lead and develop project teams, promoting an environment of growth and collaboration.
  • Use project data to analyze performance, make informed decisions, and report on project outcomes.
  • Identify potential issues and proactively address them, ensuring project success.
  • Serve as a bridge between technical teams and non-technical stakeholders, translating requirements and ensuring project alignment with business goals.
  • Lead customer-facing AWS Cloud Migration, AI/ML and Application Development projects for North American customers.
  • Collaborate daily with project managers, architects and engineering teams across the US, Europe and LATAM.
  • Help establish best practices, governance and operational standards for our growing US PMO.
  • Act as a bridge between our US customers and our global delivery organization.
  • Contribute to improving project management processes, reporting and delivery excellence as we scale internationally.
  • Support strategic customer engagements where executive-level communication and ownership are required.
