About The Position

Allyn International is seeking an experienced IT Project Manager to join their Trade Department in Fort Myers, FL. The ideal candidate will have a proven track record of successfully managing IT projects from inception to completion, ensuring they are delivered on time, within scope, and within budget. This role involves planning, executing, and closing projects within the global marketplace, supporting Allyn's core products which include transportation management, logistics sourcing, freight forwarding, supply chain consulting, tax management, and trade compliance operational support and consulting.

Requirements

Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field (Master's preferred).
Proven experience as an IT Project Manager, with a minimum of 3 years in project management or other IT team leadership.
Strong understanding of project management methodologies (e.g., Agile, Waterfall).
Excellent communication and leadership skills.
Microsoft Word, Excel, Outlook, Access (advanced skills).

Responsibilities

Manage projects, create timelines, identify key tasks and required actions, maintain meeting schedule, follow up with responsible parties to ensure tasks are completed.
Manage new SaaS development projects including assisting with client sessions to understand needs and parameters, writing and submitting features to the Allyn IT development team, and assisting with testing new functionality.
Identify audit logic parameters, submit features to the IT development team to create new business, set up audits, and create new dashboards.
Proactively identify, document, and mitigate technical and operational risks that could impact trade flow or system availability.
Provide direction regarding network systems architecture and development, technical application and operational support, project installation, change and problem management, and system integration testing.
Oversee the availability of resources to meet client requirements.
Assist users with day-to-day problems by troubleshooting issues occurring in programs or databases.
Develop and manage a detailed project schedule and work plan.
Study and analyze existing procedures; prepare system flow charts and logic diagrams to describe existing and proposed operations; test, troubleshoot, debug, and document programs.
Assist with business development, including identifying market opportunities, preparing client presentations, and preparing proposals.
Provide support to internal and external teams regarding bugs in CIMS software, including troubleshooting and following up with the Allyn IT development team to resolve issues.
Meet regularly with the internal team to solicit feedback and ideas regarding bugs or suggestions for system improvement.
Support other projects and tasks as needed upon request from the Global Trade Compliance Director.
Stay current with industry trends and best practices in IT project management.
