About The Position

This opportunity resides with Warfare Systems (WS), a business group within HII’s Mission Technologies division. Warfare Systems comprises cyber and mission IT; electronic warfare; and C5ISR systems. HII works within our nation’s intelligence and cyber operations communities to defend our interests in cyberspace and anticipate emerging threats. Our capabilities in cybersecurity, network architecture, reverse engineering, software and hardware development uniquely enable us to support sensitive missions for the U.S. military and federal agency partners. HII’s Mission Technologies division is dedicated to delivering cutting-edge solutions that advance national security and defense objectives. This position is part of our Cyber and Intelligence division, which plays a critical role in supporting Enterprise-Level Security and Modernization efforts across IT infrastructure, cybersecurity, physical facilities, and personnel operations. You’ll oversee and drive technology projects from kickoff through completion, making sure each initiative stays on track, meets requirements, and delivers high quality outcomes. In this role, you’ll turn business objectives into actionable project plans, coordinate cross functional teams, and guide execution using established project management practices. Your work will include partnering with stakeholders to clarify needs, building project schedules and resource plans, and maintaining thorough documentation throughout the lifecycle. You’ll facilitate team discussions, monitor progress, manage risks and issues, and provide timely updates to leaders and contributors. You may also assist with solution design, support vendor interactions, and help ensure new technology solutions are properly tested, deployed, and transitioned smoothly into ongoing operations.

Requirements

• 6+ years of IT Project Management experience on both Agile and Waterfall projects.
• Proven ability tracking milestones, dependencies, tasks, and levels of effort.
• Experience eliciting and documenting functional and technical requirements.
• Active TS/SCI government security clearance required to start.
• Candidate must be willing and able to obtain and maintain a CI poly.
• Must meet DoD 8140/CSWF for 802-Intermedediate or be willing to obtain the appropriate credential within 6 months.

Nice To Haves

• Experience with ServiceNow Portfolio and Project Management (PPM) module
• PMP certification or similar associate-level project management credential.
• ITIL V3 or V4 Foundation certification.
• Advanced ITIL training or certifications.
• Formal training or certification in agile methodologies, e.g., Scrum, SAFe, Kanban.
