About The Position

The IT Project Manager is responsible for driving successful client outcomes across Professional Services and Internal Technology. This role owns the coordination, execution, and communication of projects from pre-sales support through delivery and closeout. The IT Project Manager ensures scope, timelines, budgets, and expectations are clearly defined, properly quoted, and delivered with quality. This role partners closely with Sales Solutions, technical teams, vendors, and clients to ensure smooth handoffs and consistent execution. Must be local to Jacksonville, FL area.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, IT, or a related field.
  • Active and current PMP Certification required
  • Experience managing IT or managed services projects
  • Strong organization, communication, and follow-through
  • Experience supporting scoping, quotes, and SOW development
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities and client expectations
  • Familiarity with PSA/project tools (Autotask, etc.)

Responsibilities

  • Define scope, deliverables, timelines, and success criteria
  • Build and manage project plans (tasks, milestones, dependencies)
  • Coordinate internal teams, vendors, and client stakeholders
  • Drive projects to completion within scope, budget, and timeline
  • Lead kickoff meetings, status calls, and project reviews
  • Partner with Sales Solutions and technical teams to develop project scopes
  • Assist in gathering requirements, assumptions, and exclusions
  • Develop and support quotes, Sales & Service Orders (SSOs), and Statements of Work (SOWs)
  • Follow up on open-scope questions, quote revisions, and client approvals
  • Ensure all approved work is clearly defined before delivery begins
  • Provide consistent project status updates to clients and internal teams
  • Communicate risks, blockers, changes, and next steps clearly
  • Address client concerns quickly and professionally
  • Set and manage expectations throughout the project lifecycle
  • Work with technical leadership to assign and adjust resources
  • Monitor workload and scheduling conflicts
  • Ensure the right resources are engaged at the right time
  • Coordinate vendors and third parties as needed
  • Identify risks early and drive mitigation plans
  • Manage scope changes and change orders
  • Assess impact of changes on timeline and budget
  • Track budgets, costs, and project profitability
  • Ensure deliverables meet quality expectations
  • Maintain clean, accurate project documentation
  • Ensure all project artifacts (scope, SOW, approvals, notes) are complete
  • Deliver project reporting and lessons learned
  • Support continuous improvement across project delivery
