About The Position

The IT Project Manager, Data is embedded with WellBe’s Data team and owns delivery across its project portfolio. The team turns information from Luminate 2.0, Luminate Heritage, the scheduling platform, and partner systems into reporting, analytics, and data feeds used by the business, including payer and Medicare Advantage reporting. The role translates business needs into technically executable data work, manages dependencies across source systems and external partners, drives migration and production-readiness plans, and ensures data quality, reconciliation, security, and compliance gates are met before release.

The position leads data projects involving pipelines, data warehouses or lakehouses, migrations, interfaces, and reporting and BI builds. It manages Data team intake and prioritization, works with engineers, analysts, and business owners to define requirements and acceptance criteria, coordinates data feeds and testing, and runs Scrum ceremonies. The role reports status, risks, and issues early and clearly, escalating with options.

Requirements

• BS/BA in information systems, data analytics, computer science, or a related field, or equivalent work experience.
• At least 5 years of IT project management experience, including at least 3 years leading data-platform, pipeline, migration, integration, or analytics delivery with engineering teams.
• Technical fluency in data pipelines, ETL/ELT, data warehousing or lakehouse architectures, data modeling, and SQL.
• Ability to challenge estimates, identify source-to-target dependencies, and evaluate validation and production-readiness plans with data engineers and analysts.
• Experience with healthcare data such as claims, encounters, clinical, eligibility, or risk adjustment data.
• Experience running data migrations or reconciliations with clear validation sign-off.
• Agile and Scrum delivery experience in Jira and Confluence.
• Ability to explain data issues and their business impact in plain language.

Nice To Haves

• Three or more years of healthcare technology experience; equivalent experience delivering data platforms in regulated environments may be considered.
• PMP certification.
• Scrum certification (CSM, PSM, or similar).
• Experience with Power BI, Tableau, or similar BI tools.
• Cloud data platform experience (Azure, Snowflake, Databricks, or similar).
• Familiarity with HL7, FHIR, 834/837 EDI, or CMS reporting requirements.
• Data governance experience.

Responsibilities

• Lead delivery of data projects, including pipelines, data warehouse or lakehouse work, migrations, interfaces, and reporting and BI builds.
• Run intake and prioritization for Data team requests with business owners and maintain a healthy backlog.
• Work with data engineers, analysts, and business owners to define requirements, data definitions, and acceptance criteria.
• Own the dependency map across Luminate Heritage, Luminate 2.0, and downstream consumers; assess schema, lineage, interface, reporting, and release impacts when source systems change.
• Plan and track data validation, reconciliation, and data-quality testing before production release.
• Coordinate inbound and outbound data feeds with payers, partners, and vendors, including formats, schedules, and testing.
• Run Scrum ceremonies for the Data team and track delivery against commitments.
• Report status, risks, and issues early and plainly, escalating with options.
