About The Position

The IT Project Manager Sr is responsible for maximizing the value returned from large sized projects and programs. This position focuses on gathering the correct resources to accomplish the project by the targeted deadline while resolving conflicts and balancing available skill sets between projects that may be competing for like and limited resources.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s Degree with 6 or more years of related experience is preferred.
  • An equivalent combination of education and/or experience will be considered.
  • Requires PMP

Responsibilities

  • Proactively communicates project progress, changes, and status to stakeholders, anticipating their needs and keeping them informed of potential roadblocks and mitigation strategies. Tailors communication to different audiences and uses effective influence tactics to secure support.
  • Develops and implements a comprehensive project management plan, outlining tasks, timelines, and resource allocation for geographically dispersed teams. Leads and motivates team members, fostering collaboration and a sense of ownership for project success. Proactively manages stakeholder expectations and communicates project progress effectively across geographical and cultural boundaries.
  • Leads assigned projects and programs, leveraging expertise in Plexus PMO methodology. Optimizes project plans considering schedule, budget, and resource constraints. Manages stakeholders' expectations, proactively communicating progress and potential challenges. Provides coaching and development opportunities for less senior PMs, business analysts, and project team members, fostering their growth within the PMO framework.
  • Proactively analyzes IT processes to identify and implement improvements, optimizing efficiency and effectiveness. Leads and facilitates team-based lean workshops to identify and address process bottlenecks. Tracks the impact of lean initiatives and measures improvements against established metrics.
  • Leads assigned programs, proactively planning, monitoring, and controlling program execution. Develops and maintains program plans, considering project interdependencies, resource allocation, and risk mitigation strategies. Facilitates communication and collaboration among project teams to ensure program alignment and timely delivery. Manages stakeholder expectations and communicates program progress effectively, addressing potential risks and issues proactively.
  • All GT team members are responsible for upholding the organization's cybersecurity posture by adhering to security policies and procedures, actively participating in training, protecting data and systems, actively identifying and mitigating vulnerabilities, and promptly reporting any suspicious activity or potential security incidents.
