About The Position

The IT Project Manager will lead initiatives within the information security portfolio, coordinate activities across information technology, legal, risk management, audit, procurement, business teams and third parties as required throughout the project lifecycle. This position will lead cross-functional project teams, collaborate with stakeholders, manage project risks and issues, and ensure effective communication throughout the project lifecycle. This position will be accountable for project outcomes, quality, and stakeholder satisfaction. All activities will be performed in support of the strategy, vision and values of JE Dunn.

Requirements

  • Bachelors degree in business administration, information systems, computer science or related field (Required)
  • In lieu of the above requirements, equivalent relevant experience will be considered.
  • Ability to perform work accurately and completely, and in a timely manner
  • Working knowledge of information security and risk management concepts, security frameworks and audit or assessment processes
  • Communication skills, verbal and written
  • Proficiency in MS Office with an emphasis in Excel – Intermediate
  • Ability to follow-up on inquiries in a timely manner
  • Knowledge of modern ITSM toolsets - Jira Software
  • Organizational skills – Advanced
  • Ability to deliver quality through attention to detail – Advanced
  • Ability to learn and use a variety of software, tools and systems necessary to meet business needs
  • Ability to solve complex problems quickly and effectively – Advanced
  • Ability to build relationships and collaborate within a team, internally and externally

Nice To Haves

  • 5+ years project management or similar experience (Preferred)

Responsibilities

  • Oversees the development of and executes project plans, including defining project scope, goals, deliverables, and resource requirements.
  • Manages assigned initiatives within the information security portfolio from initiation through implementation, transition and closure
  • Supports the coordination and organization of project documentation and evidence required for applicable audits, assessments, contractual obligations and compliance activities.
  • Leads project teams, providing guidance, direction, and support to team members to synergistically accomplish goals.
  • Ensures adherence to project schedules and budgets, adjusting plans as necessary.
  • Facilitates project meetings, including kickoff, status updates, and stakeholder meetings.
  • Conducts project reviews to identify lessons learned and areas for improvement.
  • Ensures project documentation is complete, including project charters, requirements, and change requests.
  • Fosters a positive project culture and motivate team members to achieve project goals.
  • Coordinates with change managers to develop and implement change requests within projects.
  • Builds alignment among technical, legal, risk, compliance, business and third party stakeholders with differing priorities and responsibilities.
  • Promotes accountability by establishing clear ownership, documenting commitments and following through on decisions and outstanding actions.
  • Communicates complex project information clearly and concisely to project teams, sponsors and leadership and facilitates escalation when decisions or intervention are required.
