About The Position

E-Logic is seeking an experienced IT Project Manager with expertise in Microsoft 365 migrations to support the City of San Carlos in its Legacy File Server Migration to SharePoint Online & OneDrive for Business Modernization project. The successful candidate will lead project planning, oversee migration execution, and ensure smooth adoption of Microsoft 365 tools, including SharePoint, OneDrive, Teams, and CoPilot.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Information Technology, Computer Science, or related field (or equivalent experience).
  • 5+ years of IT Project Management experience with a focus on Microsoft 365 migrations.
  • Proven expertise with SharePoint Online, OneDrive for Business, Microsoft Teams, and M365 governance/security.
  • Hands-on experience with file server migrations, permissions mapping, and data validation.
  • Strong background in change management, communication planning, and user training.
  • Excellent stakeholder management, communication, and leadership skills.

Nice To Haves

  • Microsoft 365/SharePoint certifications (e.g., Microsoft Certified: Teams Administrator, Collaboration Engineer, or Enterprise Administrator).
  • Experience working with government or public-sector agencies.
  • Familiarity with Microsoft CoPilot and AI/automation tools in the M365 environment.

Responsibilities

  • Lead project planning and execution for the City's migration from legacy file servers to SharePoint Online and OneDrive.
  • Develop and maintain a detailed project plan, including milestones for discovery, cleanup, migration, testing, and training.
  • Conduct stakeholder engagement with City IT staff, department leads, and end users to define requirements, timelines, and success criteria.
  • Oversee content analysis, ROT (Redundant/Outdated/Trivial) data review, and permissions mapping.
  • Coordinate the design, configuration, and deployment of department SharePoint Online sites, governance structures, and compliance policies.
  • Support the rollout of Microsoft CoPilot integration within the City's Microsoft 365 environment.
  • Manage User Acceptance Testing (UAT), issue tracking, and resolution.
  • Deliver weekly progress reports, project updates, and risk assessments to City stakeholders.
  • Oversee training and change management programs to drive user adoption and compliance.
  • Ensure adherence to California public records, retention, and data privacy requirements.
