An IT Project Manager II is in charge of spearheading and overseeing multiple small to medium technology projects, ensuring adherence to budgets and deadlines. This position typically manages 5-7 small project with budget less than $1 million per project. It is their duty to set goals and guidelines, manage projects and deadlines, liaise with internal and external parties, coordinate project and operational managers, and monitor the progress of all efforts. They must also address issues and concerns, resolving them promptly. An IT Project Manager will be responsible for reaching project goals while following all organizational policies and achieving business objectives. They are also expected to have a strong understanding of project management methodologies, excellent communication skills, and the ability to lead and motivate a team.
