IT Project Coordinator
About The Position
Morgan & Morgan is the largest personal injury law firm in the United States — and we're growing. Our IT Project Management Office is the engine that keeps that growth running. We're looking for an organized, proactive, and detail-driven IT Project Coordinator to join our PMO team and support a growing portfolio of technology projects that directly impact our attorneys, staff, and clients nationwide. This role is ideal for someone early in their project career who is eager to learn, willing to develop, and committed to growing into an experienced, independent contributor over time. You will work directly under the mentorship of a Senior IT Project Manager and have clear expectations and support at every stage of your growth.
Requirements
- Strong organizational skills and an ability to manage multiple workstreams simultaneously without losing detail.
- Excellent written and verbal communication — professional, clear, and prompt.
- A customer-first mindset: reliable follow-through, timely responses, and accountability for your own work.
- Ability to work both collaboratively in a team environment and independently with minimal direction.
- Proficiency with Microsoft Office (Outlook, Teams, Word, Excel, PowerPoint).
- Comfort learning new tools and systems quickly.
Nice To Haves
- One year experience in or exposure to project coordination, project administration, or a structured operational role.
- Familiarity with project management tools such as Jira or similar platforms.
- Experience working in a legal, professional services, or technology environment.
- Interest in pursuing a project management certification (PMP, CAPM, or equivalent).
Responsibilities
- Coordinate and own all project meetings — scheduling, agendas, facilitation, and distributing complete meeting notes with action items within 24 hours.
- Track and manage all project tasks, action items, and deliverables in Jira, ensuring nothing falls through the cracks.
- Maintain project plans, status dashboards, risk logs, and issue trackers — keeping them current at all times without being prompted.
- Own project documentation: file all artifacts in SharePoint using the correct structure, naming conventions, and version control.
- Support vendor relationships: track invoices, coordinate logistics, flag discrepancies, and maintain vendor contact information.
- Prepare project status reports, executive summaries, and presentation decks for team leads and directors.
- Build and maintain positive working relationships with project stakeholders, team members, and vendors across the firm.
- Identify process gaps, propose improvements, and create clear documentation that the team can adopt and reference.
- Leverage AI tools (Microsoft Copilot, Claude) daily to improve the speed and quality of your coordination deliverables.
