About The Position

The City of Chandler Information Technology Department is seeking qualified individuals for the role of IT Programmer Principal Analyst. This position focuses on the Workday ERP System, and experience with this platform is essential. The role is onsite, scheduled for 5 days a week, 8 hours a day. The Information Technology department values Team Chandler and is dedicated to driving innovation to provide extraordinary service to our customers. We utilize cutting-edge technology and business automation tools to transform how we serve our community. Our team coordinates computer technology across city departments, manages technology investments and assets, and provides technology services and support, consulting, business process analysis, and project management.

Requirements

  • Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Information Technology or a related field.
  • 5 years of recent experience with systems application analysis.
  • Highly complex technical documentation programming.
  • Experience acting as a lead system implementer on a project team delivering an enterprise solution.
  • Experience in web development (C#, ASP.Net, Angular, NodeJs preferred).
  • Experience with BASH/Linux, XML, JSON, Database development.
  • Experience with Workday ERP System.

Nice To Haves

  • Proven experience as a Workday Integration Developer or similar technical role.
  • Hands-on expertise with Workday Studio, EIB/DTS, Cloud Connect, Orchestrate.
  • Strong knowledge of Workday Reporting and Prism Analytics.
  • Experience building Workday Extend applications.
  • Familiarity with APIs and integration protocols (REST/SOAP).

Responsibilities

  • Plan, modify and implement application solutions utilizing a variety of modern web and desktop development technologies.
  • Act as a lead system implementer on a project team delivering an enterprise solution.
  • Develop and maintain Workday ERP integrations and applications.
  • Utilize systems architectural and design principles.
  • Provide technology services and support.
  • Consult on business process analysis.
  • Manage projects.
