About The Position

The IT Program Consultant will provide support to a large scale government IT Cloud Infrastructure Modernization program. Responsibilities include utilizing Agile principles to coordinate ongoing program activities, such as knowledge management and risk/issue management. The role involves creating ad-hoc and executive-level briefings, talking points, and communications plans for key stakeholders, and engaging with executive audiences via briefings and reports. The consultant will help incorporate best practices and frameworks to maximize existing cloud infrastructure investments and demonstrate clearer return on investment. Additionally, the role requires providing technical expertise for integrating new and emerging technologies (quantum computing, edge computing, AI, IoT) and establishing performance optimization and continuous improvement programs to drive ongoing enhancements and efficiencies.

Requirements

• 3-5 years of experience in IT consulting with focus on cloud infrastructure modernization and enablement
• Power Automate
• Excel
• PowerPoint
• Ability to effectively communicate with executive audiences, both verbally and in writing
• Ability to prepare and deliver clear and effective presentations
• Understanding of industry-leading best practices and frameworks related to infrastructure to guide investment decisions
• Experience working on IT programs involving cloud computing
• Technical expertise related to new and emerging technologies related to IT infrastructure
• US Citizenship
• Active Federal Government public trust clearance (or higher security clearance)

Nice To Haves

• Experience working for federal government customers
• PMP certification
• Experience performing Management Consulting for IT programs
• AWS or Azure Cloud certifications and/or experience (governance role only)
