Repligen is seeking an IT Process Documentation Intern who will support the IT organization by capturing, mapping, and standardizing critical operational processes across multiple functions. The IT team currently relies heavily on tribal knowledge for many workflows, handoffs, and procedures which creates operational risk & inefficiencies. This internship focuses on documenting core processes to improve transparency, consistency, and long‑term operational maturity.

Requirements

  • Currently enrolled in a Bachelor's Degree program.
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office (Visio, PowerPoint, Excel, Word)
  • Interest in information technology, business processes, or operational improvement
  • Strong written communication skills with the ability to clearly document technical or operational processes
  • Analytical mindset with attention to detail and an interest in understanding how systems and teams work together
  • Ability to collaborate with a variety of stakeholders and ask thoughtful clarifying questions
  • Comfortable organizing information and translating complex workflows into clear, structured documentation

Nice To Haves

  • Basic understanding of IT operations, enterprise systems, or IT service management concepts preferred

Responsibilities

  • Partner with IT stakeholders to identify and document existing workflows, operational procedures, and handoffs across IT functions
  • Create clear process flow maps and written work instructions that translate tribal knowledge into standardized documentation
  • Analyze current processes to identify gaps, inefficiencies, or inconsistencies in execution
  • Organize and maintain process documentation in a structured, accessible format for ongoing use and updates
  • Support initiatives related to operational efficiency, internal controls, business continuity, and future automation or AI enablement
  • Contribute to improved onboarding experiences by ensuring processes are well‑documented and easy to follow

  • The estimated hourly rate/salary range for this role, based in the United States of America is $24/Hr. -$25/Hr.
  • Compensation decisions are dependent on several factors including, but not limited to an individual's qualifications, location, internal equity, and alignment with market data.
  • Additionally, employees are eligible to participate in one of our variable cash programs (bonus or commission) and eligible roles may receive equity as part of the compensation package.
