Requirements

Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Electrical Engineering or related
5 years of Cloud data architecture and software development experience
SQL
SSIS
Microsoft Power BI
Qlik View scripting languages for data analysis & data modeling
Cloud data ecosystems such as AWS EMR, Redshift and Spark
designing data processing solutions respective of performance, reliability, and cost
Design and implementation of data warehouses
Working with common APIs to integrate data from external systems

Responsibilities

Independently design solutions for creating and maintaining datasets, data processing solutions, and data storage solutions, with consideration for performance, correctness, and availability.
Develop and maintain systems for staging data in one or more cloud-compute platforms in a way that is scalable, testable, performant, and cost-effective.
Works directly with stakeholders to identify opportunities for analysis and reporting on complex data in solution of business problems.
Design and implement data-integrations between multiple disparate data sources to provide unified views of data.
Provide support for users in diagnosing potential data-related issues.
Collaborate with data scientists and/or architects to design production-ready and scalable implementations of proof-of-concept models or other data solutions.
Recommends processes and/or tools to improve team performance.
Mentor less-experienced team members, providing guidance and technical development.
Works with manager to help set short-term goals and milestones for the team.
Contributes to interviewing candidates to help build a diverse and talented team.
