About The Position

Assured Consulting Solutions is seeking an experienced and highly motivated IT Policy (IT/Cyber/Data/AI) Support professional to join their team. This role is contingent upon contract award. The Contractor will apply best practices to prepare required documents, subject to Sponsor approval. The position requires extensive research and writing on IT, Cyber, Data, and AI issues, developing draft policy documents, and ensuring alignment with organizational and government policies. The role also involves preparing operational and strategic plans, identifying emerging trends, maintaining policy databases, communicating policy updates, collecting feedback, and writing reports for various stakeholders.

Requirements

  • A minimum of four years of hands-on experience as a Project Manager.
  • Experience developing decision-quality materials (strategic papers, options analyses, executive briefings) and driving executive action tracking.
  • Experience overseeing or guiding portfolio/program performance, resource planning, and acquisition/procurement strategy (including vendor management and enterprise licensing concepts).
  • Requires a bachelor’s degree in Political Science, Communications or a related field and at least 6 years of related experience. Four (4) years of related experience may be substituted for a degree.
  • Must be a U.S. Citizen and possess a current and active TS/SCI clearance granted by the Department of Defense or an Intelligence Community agency.
  • Must be able to pass a Counterintelligence (CI) Polygraph.

  • Experience translating mission priorities into actionable IT roadmaps, investment plans, and measurable outcomes
  • Experience with AI architecture patterns (model hosting, vector search/RAG, data pipelines, APIs, orchestration)
  • Experience briefing senior leaders and driving cross-team delivery.

Responsibilities

  • Conducts extensive research on a range of IT, Cyber, Data and AI issues and develop draft policy documents while ensuring clarity, coherence, specificity, and alignment with other organizational or government policies and regulations.
  • Contribute to the preparation of operational and strategic plans to guide government or organization initiatives.
  • Monitor and analyze policy trends that may impact the organization or agency. Provide recommendations that inform policy decisions or adapt existing policies to suit emerging changes.
  • Maintain and update databases that contain policy information, research, and statistics.
  • Communicate policy updates via various methods.
  • Gather feedback to learn more about how policies affect others and identify ways to improve them.
  • Write reports for policymakers, government officials, and members of the public that are evidence-based, well-structured, and effective at communicating policy rationale.
