About The Position

The IT/OT Supervisor leads site Information Technology and Process Control Engineering teams, overseeing industrial IT/OT systems, cybersecurity, and digital initiatives that support safe, reliable, and efficient operations. This role supervises personnel, manages projects, and develops technology strategies that align with business objectives in safety, quality, and profitability. The position serves as a key liaison between operations, corporate IT, vendors, and leadership to deliver secure, high-performing systems. We are a great company with great pay and great benefits. Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Computer Science, Information Systems, or related field (or equivalent experience)
  • Minimum 5 years of experience in industrial IT, process control, or OT environments
  • Demonstrated leadership experience managing technical teams and cross-functional projects
  • Strong knowledge of DCS/PLC/SIS systems (Emerson DeltaV preferred)
  • Experience with IT/OT convergence, industrial networks, and cybersecurity best practices
  • Familiarity with data historians, analytics platforms, and enterprise systems (SAP preferred)
  • Strong project management, communication, and problem-solving skills
  • Working knowledge of relevant standards (ISA/IEC, NIST, ISO, PSM/MOC)
  • Proficiency with Microsoft platforms, databases (SQL), and modern IT infrastructure
  • Ability to obtain and maintain a TWIC card

Responsibilities

  • Supervise and develop IT staff and Process Control Engineers, including work planning, performance management, and training
  • Lead IT and process control projects, system upgrades, and continuous improvement initiatives
  • Develop and maintain IT/OT technology roadmaps aligned with operational and business goals
  • Act as facility Cybersecurity Officer, managing cybersecurity programs, incident response, and compliance
  • Oversee industrial control systems (DCS, PLC, SIS), networks, data systems, and enterprise interfaces
  • Manage vendors and contractors, including technical evaluations, contracts, and performance oversight
  • Plan and manage IT/OT budgets and provide recommendations to facility leadership
  • Ensure effective change management, incident response, backup, recovery, and service management practices
  • Communicate clearly with operations, leadership, and corporate IT on system impacts and initiatives
  • Promote a culture of safety, reliability, and operational excellence
