The IT Supervisor leads a team of IT professionals, providing guidance, mentorship, and support to foster a collaborative work environment. This role ensures the delivery of high-quality IT support and innovative solutions for internal customers and stakeholders. The IT Supervisor partners with business leaders to provide strategic guidance on IT initiatives and demonstrate how IT services contribute to organizational goals. This role also liaises with management, presenting updates, insights, and recommendations to support data-driven decision-making.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree in computer science or equivalent technical training and experience
  • 3+ years related IT experience
  • Working knowledge of modern programming or data languages such as SQL, C++, or XML.
  • Ability to travel (domestic and internationally) and obtain a passport.
  • Due to federal contract requirements, candidates must be U.S. citizens, lawful permanent residents, or protected individuals as defined by 8 U.S.C. §1324b(a)(3).

Responsibilities

  • Lead, train, mentor, and develop a team of IT professionals.
  • Assist in the development and implementation of IT policies, initiatives, and procedures.
  • Initiate, lead, and implement continuous improvement activities to enhance IT processes, services, and system performance.
  • Manage and oversee the IT work order ticketing system to ensure timely and effective issue resolution.
  • Partner with management and staff to provide technical support and drive continuous improvement of IT solutions.
  • Establish and maintain positive, productive relationships with operational partners and organizational leaders.
  • Communicate IT updates, insights, and recommendations to management and stakeholders.
  • Travel domestically (less than 10%) of time.
