About The Position

Position at JBS USA Job Title: IT Supervisor Location: Omaha Reporting to: Plant Engineer Essential Job Functions: Vendor Access Requests All computer/network components, including servers, network equipment, wireless access points, cabling, printers, and work stations Security camera systems Door readers and controller systems Phone systems All “Production Floor / Plant Floor Systems.” Work with end users proposing new hardware and software solutions Test all hardware and software modifications before they are introduced into production Provide hardware and software diagnostics for network, hardware, and software issues Seek out opportunities to automate plant processes Implement automated solutions plant-wide Communicate Plant Systems Outages and Notices Analyze software issues, installation, and testing of application software/patches Provide on-call support for complex software problems and issues Perform miscellaneous job-related duties as assigned

Requirements

  • Must have excellent communication skills, both written and verbal
  • Must have strong customer support abilities
  • Must be willing to work in a plant / industrial environment
  • Must be willing to travel as required to support additional plant
  • Proficient in reading and writing ladder logic plc program
  • Proficient in graphics packages / HMI interface
  • Fundamental understanding of VLANS
  • Fundamental understanding of Citrix desktop Server, Windows 10, Office 2016
  • Cisco Network Switch cabling, connectivity, configurations, and troubleshooting

Nice To Haves

  • 3 years of related experience, preferred but not required
  • Phone systems experience preferred, but not required
  • MCSE Certification is preferred, but not required
  • A+ Certification preferred, but not required

Responsibilities
