About The Position

The IT ERP Supervisor is responsible for overseeing the administration, optimization, and integration of ERP systems, primarily Infor SyteLine (CSI), and web storefront integration. This role ensures seamless connectivity between ERP and Factory Floor automation systems, driving efficiency and supporting digital transformation initiatives. The ERP Supervisor will provide direct supervision to ERP Programmer/Analysts and consultants across Gorbel and Engineered Lifting Systems, Inc. DBA Gorbel Canada, while collaborating with IT leadership to drive governance, change management, and deliver an extraordinary customer experience under the overall guidance of the IT Director.

Requirements

  • Associates degree in an Information Technology related field
  • 3+ years of experience working with manufacturing ERP platforms such as Infor Syteline/CSI or comparable
  • 3+ years of experience in a manufacturing environment with multiple sites
  • 2+ years of experience supervising technical staff, including task coordination, coaching, and cross‑functional collaboration
  • Demonstrated success in IT project management
  • Solid written and verbal communication skills

Nice To Haves

  • Experience with MS SQL Server administration
  • Knowledge of BI tools (Power BI, SSRS) and data warehouse concepts
  • Experience with Infor Syteline (CSI) modules, APS scheduling, DataViews and Workbenches
  • Experience with LakeCo suite of Applications
  • Familiarity with Infor OS, Mongoose framework, and cloud-hosted ERP environments.
  • Demonstrated success with Cloud ERP migration and administration
  • Familiarity with shop floor data collection, barcoding, and IoT-enabled automation
  • Ability to meet tight deadlines with high quality requirements
  • Task management and prioritization skills
  • Strong interpersonal communication and problem-solving skills

Responsibilities

  • Lead and Support ERP and cross-functional projects, including upgrades, new module implementations, and automation initiatives
  • Create and monitor performance goals and complete performance appraisals for direct reports
  • Provide input and updates to the ERP Governance Committee
  • Support change management activities by coordinating testing, communication, and training
  • Leverage BI tools and data warehouse infrastructure to provide real-time reporting and analytics
  • Review ERP vendor support contracts to control costs and identify service improvement opportunities
  • Monitor Service Desk queue to ensure staff are adhering to controlled Acute Support request process
  • Monitor Customer Satisfaction trends and incorporate feedback into performance appraisals
  • Lead team in the design and implementation of new functionality and custom functionality in CSI
  • Ensure team is appropriately prioritizing, testing and evaluating customer requests
  • Research ERP system upgrades and new modules to improve reliability and business processes
  • Recommend and implement technology in support of employee enablement
  • Recommend and complete technical training annually to keep technical skillsets current
  • Contribute to the identification and achievement of operational metrics for the IT department, including KPI tracking
  • Assist in preparing organization for ERP related updates
  • Stay current on emerging IT trends, particularly related to ERP, Database and Software Development
  • Participate in monthly IT department meetings and provide agenda topics
