About The Position

The IT Operations Engineer will be responsible for supporting Xurrent’s internal IT experience, including seamless user onboarding, rapid and effective resolution of technology-related issues, and the implementation and configuration of tools that enable overall business success. This position requires excellent problem-solving skills, the ability to operate independently, and clear, proactive stakeholder communication. The ideal candidate thrives in a fast-paced environment, takes ownership of challenges, and is passionate about delivering a best-in-class IT experience. This is a hybrid role, requiring onsite presence three days per week at our Austin office.

Requirements

  • 3-5 Years of experience as an IT professional
  • Expertise with Okta
  • Experience in end user Apple computing device deployment, configuration, and troubleshooting
  • Experience as the primary administrator of a Google Workspace environment
  • Proficient in administration and troubleshooting of Iru / Kandji MDM software (or comparable)
  • Prior experience in a support function for a global company with a hybrid working arrangement
  • Demonstrated experience operating change management and access control processes
  • Strong understanding of networking technology administration

Nice To Haves

  • Direct experience supporting SOC 2 and ISO 27001 compliance programs
  • Direct experience managing cloud infrastructure (AWS, GCP, and Azure)

Responsibilities

  • Provide high-quality IT onboarding experience for all new staff members to ensure maintenance of company compliance and security standards
  • Provide knowledgeable and friendly IT support for all Xurrent staff members including troubleshooting hardware and software issues
  • Purchase, track, and manage Xurrent owned and issued hardware and accessories for all staff members
  • Act as the primary administrator for all centrally managed company software. Maintain process for system administration, adoption, decommissioning
  • Support and configure automated deployment and maintenance of Apple Macbooks
  • Maintain and secure Google Workspace, monitor usage and health of global technology infrastructure
  • Own internal system documentation and the user training materials
  • Act as the technical subject matter expert when implementing IT projects
  • Partner with Compliance and Security Management on security requirements
  • Conduct system security analyses and risk assessments

Benefits

  • Base salary of $80,000–$95,000
  • additional $9,000 performance-based bonus
