Requirements

  • Minimum two years of relevant experience, or equivalent education.

Responsibilities

  • Strive to improve customer satisfaction for Tampnet’s IT users.
  • Keep up to date on technology trends, solutions, and provide feedback to the IT Manager for improvement suggestions.
  • Ensure necessary steps are taken to avoid uninterrupted operations of existing IT systems and services during implementation or changes to existing IT systems and services.
  • Supervise or take part in IT projects and operations.
  • Maintain, operate, and improve Tampnet’s Linux environment, primarily based on Red Hat Enterprise Linux.
  • Perform system updates and patching, hardening, configuration adjustments, and troubleshooting as required.
  • Contribute to standardization and automation efforts where applicable.
  • Ensure that the inventory of all IT assets and all technical documentation is updated.
  • Ensure adherence to laws, regulations, and other requirements such as contracts, license agreements, and internal policies and procedures.
  • Develop and/or contribute to developing technical solutions with completion timelines in compliance with the IT Manager’s guidelines.
  • Ensure that all IT systems and services are designed, implemented, and maintained as described in Tampnet’s Information Security Management Systems.
  • Proactively monitor, assess, and continually improve IT systems and services.
