About The Position

The Community Preservation Corporation (CPC) is seeking a highly organized, entry-level IT professional to support day-to-day IT operations. This role focuses on project tracking, software and AI licensing management, invoicing/procurement coordination, and operational reporting. This role is ideal for recent graduates interested in building a career in IT operations, business systems, or technology management.

Requirements

  • 0–2 years of experience (internships or academic projects acceptable)
  • Bachelor’s degree in Information Systems, Business, or related field
  • Strong organizational and time management skills
  • Proficiency in Microsoft 365 (Excel, Teams, Word)
  • Strong communication skills and attention to detail
  • Ability to manage multiple tasks and follow through independently
  • Applicants must be authorized to work in the United States.

Nice To Haves

  • Familiarity with project tracking or ticketing tools (e.g., Jira, Smartsheet, ServiceNow, Connectwise) preferred
  • Basic familiarity with IT tools and enterprise technology platforms preferred
  • Interest in AI tools and emerging technologies preferred

Responsibilities

  • Maintain project trackers, update timelines, track action items, and provide status updates to IT leadership
  • Track software and AI tool licenses, monitor usage, and support renewals and provisioning
  • Manage invoice tracking, assist with purchase requests, and maintain vendor and contract records
  • Support communication with vendors and track renewal timelines and deliverables
  • Produce simple reports on project status, license usage, and IT operational metrics
  • Maintain organized records, SOPs, and internal documentation for IT processes
  • Pull basic operational metrics: ticket volumes, license usage, hardware inventory changes, spend tracking, and other hardware/software metrics as needed.
