About The Position

The IT Operations Analyst provides advanced technical support and assists with the administration, maintenance, and security of Timberland Bank’s technology infrastructure. This position serves as level three escalation point for complex help desk issues, supports Microsoft 365 administration, assists with network and firewall management, and participates in system patching and maintenance activities.

Requirements

  • Minimum 2 years of experience in desktop support, help desk, systems administration, or network support environments.
  • Experience with Windows 11, Windows Server, Active Directory, DNS, DHCP
  • Experience with Microsoft 365 (Exchange, Entra ID preferred)
  • Strong troubleshooting and analytical problem-solving skills.
  • Basic networking knowledge (routing, switching, VLANs, VPN)
  • Familiarity with cybersecurity practices and endpoint protection
  • Ability to prioritize and multitask effectively
  • Knowledge of virtualization (Hyper-V)

Responsibilities

  • Provide occasional level 3 help desk support for escalated hardware, software, and connectivity issues.
  • Administer and support Microsoft 365 applications and services, including but not limited to: Teams, SharePoint, Onedrive, and Outlook
  • Manage Microsoft 365 user accounts, permissions, licensing, and security groups.
  • Support Microsoft 365 security and compliance initiatives.
  • Assist the IT Manager in the routine maintenance and patching of servers, workstations, and network connected systems.
  • Assist the IT Manager in backups, disaster recovery testing, and business continuity planning.
  • Support device deployment.
  • Assist with the maintenance, monitoring, and troubleshooting of the organization’s network infrastructure, including switches, firewalls, wireless infrastructure and VPN solutions.
  • Participate in network upgrades, installations, and configuration changes.
  • Support vulnerability management efforts including tracking vulnerability remediation.
  • Assist the IT Department with technology projects, system implementations, and upgrades
  • Recommend process improvements that enhance efficiency, security, and reliability.
  • Maintain accurate inventory records of all technology assets, including, but not limited to computers, servers, networking equipment, and mobile devices.
  • Coordinate with vendors and internal teams.
  • Document IT processes and configurations.
  • All other duties as assigned
