About The Position

The IT Operations Analyst supports and enhances the organization’s Atlassian‑centric collaboration and product delivery platforms, including Jira, Confluence, Jira Product Discovery, and SharePoint. You’ll partner with IT teams, business stakeholders, and vendors to configure, support, and improve these platforms, with exposure to tools such as OnBase and Smartsheet. This role offers hands‑on experience, strong technical and business fundamentals, and the opportunity to make a meaningful impact in a fast‑moving, learning‑focused environment. This role does not allow for 100% remote work. Qualified candidates must live within a daily commutable distance of Casey's Store Support Center in Ankeny, IA and be willing to work onsite 5 days per week.

Requirements

  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent combination of education, certifications, and relevant experience.
  • Minimum 3 years' experience in supporting/working with applications and other corporate technologies.
  • Foundational understanding of collaboration and work management platforms such as Jira, Jira Product Discovery, Confluence, SharePoint, or similar tools.
  • Basic knowledge of application configuration concepts, permission models, and workflows.
  • Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
  • Ability to document processes and clearly communicate technical concepts to both technical and non‑technical stakeholders.
  • Willingness to learn new tools, platforms, and processes.

Nice To Haves

  • Hands-on experience supporting or configuring Jira, Confluence, Jira Product Discovery (JPD), or SharePoint.
  • Familiarity with Jira concepts such as issue types, workflows, fields, and dashboards.
  • Exposure to JPD concepts such as ideas, insights, prioritization, and roadmaps.
  • Experience supporting SharePoint sites, libraries, or permissions.
  • Familiarity with Smartsheet (project management) and/or OnBase (document management) platforms is a plus.
  • Experience working in an agile or product-oriented environment.

Responsibilities

  • Support the configuration, administration, and day‑to‑day operation of Atlassian‑centric platforms including Jira, Confluence, and Jira Product Discovery (JPD), with secondary support for SharePoint.
  • Design, support, and optimize Jira, Confluence, and JPD spaces, including permissions and platform configurations.
  • Provide operational support for SharePoint sites as needed, including permissions and basic site structure, in alignment with governance practices.
  • Provide frontline support and troubleshooting to ensure platform reliability and enable team productivity.
  • Monitor platform health and integrations, identifying issues and opportunities to improve reliability, performance, and user experience.
  • Create and maintain platform documentation, including how‑to guides, configuration notes, and process flows.
  • Partner with business and IT teams to gather requirements and support platform enhancements, integrations, testing, and continuous improvement initiatives.
