About The Position

As a IT O&T Technician at LJA Business Solutions, you will be responsible for executing IT related tasks for new hires, end-of-employment (EoE) processes and internal employee moves. This position demands a tech-savvy individual with a strong understanding of the computer imaging and application installation process. The individual must be focused on attention to detail and must be able to efficiently handle IT requirements for Move-Add-Change (MAC) within the organization.

Requirements

  • High school diploma or GED is required
  • Associate degree and/or equivalent work experience.
  • Active Directory, TCP/IP, DHCP, DNS, RDP, and VPN access required
  • Proficient with Microsoft Operating Systems (Windows 11) required
  • Minimum of 3 years’ hands-on experience in Information Technology
  • Experience working in a medium size business or larger for a year
  • Experience and knowledge in imaging and deployment of computers utilizing MS Intune
  • On-Site at the Corporate Office
  • Regular office hours (Overtime as required for projects)
  • Physical requirements include occasional lifting of IT equipment

Nice To Haves

  • Certifications are a plus (ITIL, A+, MCP, AZ-900 etc.)
  • There may be some opportunities for travel but it is voluntary
  • Strong communication skills
  • Ability to build strong relationships

Responsibilities

  • Create Active Directory accounts, add users to security groups and DLs, grant permissions and assign O365 licenses accordingly.
  • Image computers (when needed) for new hire deployment utilizing MS Intune
  • Install various software applications to include but not limited to: Auto CAD/Civil 3D, Bentley products, Office 365, Adobe products and other standard Business apps as well as specialized apps for engineering and surveying utilizing Intune and Company Portal
  • Create MS Teams accounts, configure Teams phone numbers and voicemail in Teams Admin Center.
  • Test inbound and outbound call functionalities
  • Check and validate CAD software installations
  • Installation of monitors, docking stations and computers
  • Update and close new hire tasks in the ticket system once task has been completed
  • Disable Active Directory accounts, change passwords and disable MFA (automated)
  • Move user to Disabled Users OU
  • Move computer to Disabled Computers OU
  • Send remote command to restart computer
  • Convert O365 mailboxes to shared mailboxes and forward email as requested
  • Forward Teams phone as requested
  • Remove O365 licenses
  • Reclaim computers from managers and work with IT Ops on asset management
  • Archive data using PowerShell
  • Wipe and reimage computers
  • Collaborate closely with the O&T IT Coordinator to ensure seamless integration of the HR and O&T processes
  • Ensure compliance with IT security policies and data protection regulations
