About The Position

SpaceX was founded under the belief that a future where humanity is out exploring the stars is fundamentally more exciting than one where we are not. Today SpaceX is actively developing the technologies to make this possible, with the ultimate goal of enabling human life on Mars. IT NETWORK INFRASTRUCTURE ENGINEER, LAUNCH As a Network Infrastructure Engineer at SpaceX, you will work in a complex environment designing and supporting a variety of IT systems critical for Starship launch pads. This position will require you to design, install, and maintain the physical cabling, network hardware, on-premises compute, electrical enclosures, and data center environments that together make up our mission critical control networks. You will work directly with the launch automations & controls teams to provide reliable and robust connectivity to their critical control systems. The fiber and copper data network cabling that you will design must survive extreme launch environments to carry operational voice, video, vehicle/payload commanding, ground support equipment telemetry, and the rest of the data needed to launch Starship in high-cadence, airport-like operations to enable life beyond Earth.
